The open-plan living and dining area connects seamlessly to the kitchen and balcony. A traditional puja niche, defined by its curved form, yellow lime backdrop, brass deities, and Mysore-style paintings, adds character to the space. A corner dining setup and a wall-mounted bench with a quartz tabletop maintain the home's simple and uncluttered feel.
The home opens into a compact foyer that leads into an open living, dining, and kitchen space anchored by a traditional puja niche. Blue accents, rattan details, and patterned finishes bring character to the private spaces, while natural materials, layered lighting, and handcrafted elements create a warm and inviting atmosphere.
Designed as a yoga-cum-study room, the space combines a mirrored wall, brass yogic Chakras, a foldable Murphy bed, and natural material finishes to create a calm retreat.
dhatri and shyam residence
We designed this three bedroom apartment in Bengaluru for a young couple, who wanted a sophisticated, earthy, minimal home to call theirs. Our interior interventions focus on accentuating its open plan and designing versatile spaces that cater to various functions and moods i.e. switch between entertaining guests, working from home, practicing yoga or having a quiet night.
